RMD to star in Ego Boyo’s new movie!

RMD

Richard Mofe-Damijo,popularly referred to as “RMD”, a veteran actor who took a plunge into the political sea in his state, is poised to return to the big screen. It’s a new flick being produced by Ego Boyo and would revolve around stars such as Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw and Nse Ikpe- Etim.

Ego Boyo

Now if you don’t know this pair, they certainly made the screen couple’s headlines in the 90’s when they starred in Amaka Igwe’s hit TV soap “Checkmate”. From then on it was no holds barred but both… that is, until Ego Namani (as she then was ) got married and for whatever reason, just remained in the shadows, allowing her contemporaries and successors to dominate the acting show. She oversees Temple Productions which revolves around the production of commercials/and even movies.

Now she’s back as the producer of her movie ,(even if she doesn’t act therein), but we sincerely hope she’s back big time! and would never again renege on her ‘first love’…i.e making solid movies…or what were you thinking?
