“Udeme Mmi” produced by Emem Isong: Premiere’s In Uyo

Udeme Mmi (My Portion) another movie from the stables of Royal Arts Academy, premiere’s at the Ibom Tropicana Entertainment Centre, Uyo, Akaw- Ibom state on the 20th of September 2012. The ibibio language was used as the vehicle of communication, a radical departure from the English language.

The story was conceived by Uduak & Chidi Oguamanam and produced by Emem Isong. It stars Belinda Effah, Moses Armstrong, Ime Bishop Umoh, Obongawan Bennett James. Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen was in the director’s seat.

Udeme Mmi unveils the only child of a wealthy father, IMA, who gets anything she wants from him. An accident claims his life and she becomes the heiress to his dynasty… but there’s a hurdle she needs to leap over before claiming her inheritance. She has to get married!. She marries Asuqo who is meant to aid in her inheritance claim… but he has other sinister plans of his own…

Hmmm… the usual nollywood story we presume….or what do you think?
