Call For Film & Music Video Submissions: The World Music Independent Film Festival 2013!

The World Music Independent Film Festival Hollywood in DC, USA 2013, now in its 4th year, has officially declared its platform open for the submission of music videos and films by filmmakers/producers into Feature Films, Documentary, Student Films, Experimental Films, Animated Films, and of course those into Music videos and many more. According to a press release by Mr Chima, AE. Executive Dir. Wmiff in the African Region;

“Filmmakers and others should submit their contents for early screening and nomination in World Music Independent Film Festival Hollywood in Washington, DC. USA – August 18th – 24th 2013…when you’re nominated we will write you an official letter of nomination and invitation, all necessary information needed to facilitate your travel will be sent to you and the embassy of your residence. All personal information will be carefully and confidentially handled to avoid any misrepresentation or misappropriation. Some people have already started sending their contents from all over the world. Early submission gives you room for preparation in the event your content is screened and nominated for the Wmiff festival”.

Established in 2010, WMIFF is an IMDB qualifying international film festival held annually in Washington D.C the third week of August. WMIFF is proud to showcases and recognizes all global independent artists. The festival lasts seven days emphasizing on diverse talents.

This week long festival highlights will include a Gala opening and closing night celebrations, a festival centerpiece presentation, special spotlight on South East Asia Films, International music videos, concluded with a Red Carpet Black Tie Gala Award Banquet held at the prestigious Capital Hilton in Washington DC.

The festival attracts celebrities, media journalists, civic and community leaders, film crews and film enthusiast from around the globe as well as the DC metropolitan area which include Virginia and Maryland.

In 2010 , 2011, and 2012 WMIFF wowed attendees and enthusiasts with award winning musical performances along with special guest appearances with five Emmy, two Golden Globe, One Grammy and two times Oscar Nominee ‘Carol Connors, Grammy Award Winner Newang Khechong, Emmy Award Winners David Lago and Merrie Lynn Ross, twice Grammy nominated Cicso Steele, Filmmaker Sanjay Arora, and Actress Dipti Mehta of “Life! Camera Action” fame amongst others.
