Embrace of a leper by Isaac Attah Ogezi

Embrace of a Leper by Isaac Attah Ogezi was published on March 29, 2013 by Hybun Publications International. The 99 paged book in paper back belongs to the drama genre. The piece has a historical theme and seeks to tell all, that the history of the conquest of the old Northern Region of Nigeria by the British colonial forces will not be complete without the story of resistance to foreign domination in Keffi. The town was made famous based on the murder of its first British Resident, Captain Moloney, by the intrepid warrior, Magaji Dan Yamusa, in 1902.

This triggered off a chain of events which culminated in the fall of Zaria, Kano, Katsina, Yobe and Sokoto to the British by the force of arms. Embrace of a Leper relives this historic encounter, pitching the major dramatic personae in a titanic battle for supremacy.

Sounds interesting…hmmm…what do you think?
