Omoni Oboli’s ‘Being Mrs Elliott’!

It is no longer news that Omoni Oboli’s movie, “Being Mrs Elliott” had a private screening for the President and dignitaries at the Presidential Villa in Abuja sometime ago. The movie showcased a list of stars including Omoni Oboli herself, Uru Eke, Comedian, AY, Seun Akindele, Ime Bishop Umoh, Lepacious Bose, Majid Michel and others, and has been described as a good production. Omoni played dual roles in the movie, which was shot in Ekiti, Asaba and Lagos. The movie was co-produced by Omoni and husband, Nnamdi.

Being Mrs Elliot is a romantic comedy with a twist. It mirrors the lives of two women who, in a simple twist of fate, find their worlds colliding with each other. Their lives are turned upside down, as they meet two men, who are on a different path in life until unusual circumstances bring the women into their lives. In a maze of deception, lust, pain, jealousy and intrigues, their lives are rearranged in ways they did not predict, as they try to make sense of finding love in unusual places.

Being Mrs Elliott opened in cinemas on September 5th 2014.
