Cinema Releases in July 2015 (Nigeria) : Ant Man, Mum Dad Meet Sam, The Minions, When love Comes Around & More!

The month of July 2015 at the cinemas in Nigeria, promises to be exciting with a blend of comedy, action, family, drama movies lined up (both foreign and local). Please see below for releases in July. Terminator Genisys had been released prior to this write up.

MUM DAD MEET SAM

Genre : Comedy Romance NEW MDMS

Cast : Joseph Benjamin, Danielle Down, A Dot Comedian, Edith Nwekenta, segilola Ogidan

Josiah Abiola (Joseph Benjamin) is at the peak of his career. The only thing left is to find the perfect girl to settle down with, and Samantha Smith (Daniella Down) is stunning, intelligent, and pretty much fits the picture. Both meet and fall in love and might just be perfect for each other. He decides to take her home to meet his family…in Nigeria. What is meant to be a special occasion turns out to be their worst nightmare. Throw in a cocktail of the devious ex-girlfriend Morenike (Edith Nwekenta), an over protective, overdramatic mother (Helen Gold), and the fact that Sam is… ENGLISH, then you have a recipe for an explosive and disastrous encounter ripe with awkwardness and hilarity.

TEMPTING FATE

Tempting Fate is the story of two brothers (Edu and Ugo Okoye). Edu is a talented singer battling cancer through his faith and with the support of his girlfriend, Tracey. Ugo, the elder of the two is the opposite. He has chosen a life of crime and though he knows he is on the path of destruction, the life he has chosen is not an easy one to leave and according to his gang leader,Scorpion, it’s a life he won’t be allowed to leave easily. As the cancer in Edu worsens, Ugo needs to stay in his life of crime to pay for the surgery his brother desperately needs and hides cocaine in the house he shares with him. He plans on selling same so he can pay for the surgery. Ugo doesn’t realize he’s being monitored by the police. As they make a forceful entry, Edu is apprehended while Ugo escapes. He takes the fall for his brother, and is sentenced to three years in prison. Shortly into serving his sentence, Tracey disappears. Edu is released, feeling empty but determined to get his life back on track. Ugo however continues to embark in a life of crime and it only becomes a matter of time before their two worlds collide.
