Apaye : A Mother’s love

Apaye: A Mother’s Love is a biopic centered around Elder Irene Yepayeye Uriah. It’s an emotionally gripping story which captures her struggles during the dark times when abandoned by her husband, who dumps the responsibility mantle of catering for six children on her shoulders.

Clarion Chukwurah re-enacts Yepayeye’s toiling, sweaty days alongside her fellow colleagues who also did justice to their roles; Kanayo O. Kanayo, Belinda Effah, Mbong Amata and Millicent Jack. The movie premiered on Friday 7th March 2014 at the Silverbird Cinemas, Victoria Island, Lagos and is currently showing in cinemas.
